Jackson County Genealogical Society meeting Saturday

Introduction to Public (Federal) Lands in genealogical research will be presented by guest speaker Beth Foulk at the Jackson County Genealogical Society meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Midwest Genealogy Center, 3440 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence.

An avid genealogist for more than a decade, Foulk enjoys the research and history inherent in the study of a family tree. She is a volunteer and instructor at Midwest Genealogy Center. It is her interests in American History and sociology that propel her to search deeper and ask more questions. She frequently attends national conferences to further broaden her knowledge base. Enthusiastic and dynamic, she delights in the opportunity to share her passion with those similarly interested in genealogy.

The public is invited to attend. For more information, call 816-252-8128.
